There are two excellent golf courses close by, but for the more adventurous, there are opportunities for Canoeing, Rock Climbing, and Go Ape.
We are close to the Wye Valley, SymondsYat, Hopewell Collery, Dean Heritage Centre, and Puzzlewood, which, upon being visited by J R Tolkein, inspired him to write The Hobbit, and is now regularly used as a film set for things like Dr Who, Merlin, and Star Wars etc.
We are 5 miles from the historic town of Monmouth, 9 miles from Ross-on-Wye, 15 miles from Chepstow, and the area is served by some excellent restaurants and pubs. Local village shops are close at hand.
